Tammy D'ree Koolbeck, M.Ed., LPC Supervisor, NCC is the co-owner of Kool Solutions and has been in the counseling profession since 1998 and is a Licensed Professional Counselor and LPC Supervisor. She accepted her Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education at Arizona State University, graduating summa cum laude, and earned her Master's Degree in Educational Counseling from the University of Phoenix at the main campus in Phoenix, Arizona.
She attained her LPC license after receiving state board certification from the state of Texas in 2003. There are rigorous standards that an LPC must uphold, assuring clients that they will receive the best counseling possible.
Tammy is now recognized by the American Psychotherapy Association as a Board Certified Professional Counselor (BCPC)., along with her many other certifications. She is also a National Board Certified Counselor (NBCC) and a Certified School Counselor.
Tammy takes an integrative approach specializing in cognitive behavioral therapy, acudetox therapy, hypnotherapy, and EMDR.
Tammy is an excellent motivational speaker and presenter on many topics related to integrative mental health, counseling, psychotherapy, positive psychology, hypnotherapy, neuro-linguistic programming and life coaching.
Barb Tichelbaut, M.A., M.S., LPC Supervisor, NCC, has been working with Kool Solutions as an independent contractor since early 2008. Barb has been working in the field of education and counseling for the past 20-plus years in various roles including counselor, teacher and school board member. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Purdue University, a Master of Arts in the field of education from National Louis University in Evanston, Illinois, and a Master of Science in Counseling and Development from Texas Woman's University. Barb is a Licensed Professional Counselor-Supervisor, Board Certified Counselor, a Certified School Counselor, and a Certified Anger Resolution Therapist. Barb provides counseling to individuals as well as couples and family counseling.
Chris Leshinski, M.Ed, M.A., LPC-Intern, has a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and a Master's of Education Administration from the University of North Texas. He also has a Master of Arts in Professional Counseling from Amberton University. Chris has worked as a teacher and coach for 19 years in the college and public school setting. Presently, he works for Kool Solutions while he works during the day at a behavioral hospital leading group, family, individual, and career counseling services to adolescents, adult, and their families. Chris uses an eclectic technique style while conducting individual sessions with his main focus using Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) approach. Chris enjoys challenging himself and those he works with to find their strengths and teach his clients new skills to be mindful of thoughts and increasing positive change in their lives. He is supervised by Deborah M. Gardner, M.Ed., LMFT, LPC-S.
Dave Koolbeck, C.C.H., is a Certified Clinical Hypnotist and the co-owner of Kool Solutions. Dave serves as business and office manager and co-authored Fighting the Fear Factor and The Blame Game with Tammy Koolbeck in 2007. He also is a certified professional teacher in the state of Texas and teaches in the Grapevine-Colleyville Independent School District.
